The Shuhooh trip to Ru’oos Aljibal included:

  • Visit to Shuhooh Association (Shuhooh Castle & Museum) Ras Al Khaimah
  • Visit to Dhaya Fort (Last standing fort of Shehhis that fell to the British forces in 1819)
  • Border crossing to Dibba Oman to explore Shuhooh of Oman territories
  • Participation in Shuhooh Cultural Dances and traditional weaving in Tamashee friends private farm
  • Walk in valley where old shuhooh homes are still standing (Bait Gefl)
  • Night in beach resort
  • Traditional Dhow cruise in Fjords of Musandam with old Shuhooh fishermen
  • traditional sea songs and stories
  • a visit to coastal mountain villages and local families whilst enjoying their hospitality
  • natural landscapes, caves, etc
