As part of Tamashee’s efforts to highlight beautiful components of The Arabian Peninsula, Tamashee organized the Shuhooh Trip, Ru’oos Aljibal (UAE/Oman)
The Shuhooh trip to Ru’oos Aljibal included:
- Visit to Shuhooh Association (Shuhooh Castle & Museum) Ras Al Khaimah
- Visit to Dhaya Fort (Last standing fort of Shehhis that fell to the British forces in 1819)
- Border crossing to Dibba Oman to explore Shuhooh of Oman territories
- Participation in Shuhooh Cultural Dances and traditional weaving in Tamashee friends private farm
- Walk in valley where old shuhooh homes are still standing (Bait Gefl)
- Night in beach resort
- Traditional Dhow cruise in Fjords of Musandam with old Shuhooh fishermen
- traditional sea songs and stories
- a visit to coastal mountain villages and local families whilst enjoying their hospitality
- natural landscapes, caves, etc
- fishing experience in old methods
