Tamashee has grown its work into three distinct yet connected workstreams: Tamashee Products, Tamashee Soul, and Tamashee Experience. Whether you’re looking to own meaningful cultural products, embark on immersive journeys, or collaborate on culturally-rooted services, Tamashee offers a unique gateway into the heritage of the Arabian Peninsula through design, storytelling, and experience.

Tamashee began as a set of social goals, which are now the core values for all of its work.

Preserving Identity | Tamashee products have been inspired by research of cultural designs and patterns. Tamashee carefully studies the history, form, and function of each cultural design and revives certain key elements of the past through its products.

Representing Culture | Tamashee seeks to redefine traditional elements into contemporary designs and to make them appealing to both traditional regional and modern international tastes. Tamashee has evolved the construction of traditional footwear by pioneering modern day methods and applying them to traditional techniques.

Coloring Lives | Creating an impact in the society is the most important of Tamashee’s causes. Tamashee achieves this by spreading information about unique elements of the Arabian Peninsula’s rich history and providing a platform and a network for emerging creatives from the Arabian Peninsula to display and spread awareness of their talent.

At Tamashee, we put immense thought into every product and experience we offer. For our products, extensive research goes into each collection, focusing on the materials used, the regional craftsmanship, and the compelling stories they tell. Our experiences aim to immerse you in the rich culture of the Arabian Peninsula, whether through curated events or visits to various regions and their surroundings. You’ll experience the culture firsthand through its people, cuisine, heritage, art, dances, and more.

The word Tamashee is constructed using two Arabic words: Mashee (to walk) and Yatamasha (compatible).

Through our work, Tamashee strives to craft a soulful narrative that advances the identity of the Arabian Gulf. This can be seen in both our experiences and products. Our products showcase this through the reintroduction of the turquoise color—a prevalent color used in clothing as well as accessories in the past through the Arabian Peninsula—the preservation and development of regional footwear rings, and the use of the Hijri calendar.

Additionally, our curated experiences immerse you in the rich culture of the region, from visiting historical sites to participating in local traditions and events, ensuring a deep and meaningful connection to the Arabian Gulf heritage in a contemporary way.

Tamashee Products:
Tamashee creates and develops designs inspired by the Arabian Peninsula. Its products include contemporary items used in our daily lives. Tamashee’s work involves redefining traditional patterns in a contemporary context. Tamashee currently focuses on high quality affordable luxury.

Tamashee Soul:
Culturally relevant research, workshops, events, designs, curation, talks, documentaries, impact, corporate gifting, fashion consulting, and cultural consulting.
Tamashee has had extensive experience since 2012 gathering, researching, documenting, and re-designing cultural components of the Arabian Peninsula.
Tamashee has held educational events, workshops, talks, and field trips that revolve around design and culture.

It has also been involved in art curation and activates its events through live performing artists of GCC nationalities, creating highly authentic experiences. These artists include (but are not limited to):

Tamashee has created documentaries that serve as both educational and promotional material revolving around culture. It has also led CSR groups to create an impact in the tribal areas it operates in, helping give back to the individuals and families involved with Tamashee’s research and documentation.

Tamashee Experience:
As part of completing the cultural experience, Tamashee offers guided tours to cultural locations in the Arabian Peninsula with emphasis on elements Tamashee has researched and documented.
